30th Annual Sports Meet Date: 14.03.2025 Day: Friday The 30th Annual Sports Meet of our college was held on 14th March 2025 with great zeal and enthusiasm. The event was inaugurated by the esteemed chief guest, Dr. S. Sheela Stephen, who emphasized the importance of sports and physical activities in shaping the overall personality of prospective teachers. Various sports events were organized to promote physical fitness, discipline, and team spirit among the trainees. The competitions included 1,500 metres, 200 metres, 100 metres running events, shot put, long jump, and high jump. Each event was conducted with great energy and competitive spirit, and the sports ground was filled with excitement and encouragement from all participants and spectators. Women’s Day Celebration Date: 08.03.2025 Day: Saturday The Women’s Day Celebration was organized in our college on 8th March 2025 with great enthusiasm and respect towards womanhood. The programme aimed at highlighting the value, dignity, and indispensable role of women in society. The chief guest of the day, Dr. C. Srimathy, delivered an inspiring address. In her speech, she emphasized the importance of women in every sphere of life and elaborated on their responsibilities, sacrifices, and the challenges they face. She also highlighted the strength, resilience, and determination that women carry with them, inspiring the audience to recognize and appreciate the contributions of women in shaping the family, society, and nation. FIRE SAFETY AND RESCUE DEMONSTRATION

FIRE SAFETY AND RESCUE DEMONSTRATION Date: 07.03.2025 Our college organized a seminar on the topic “Fire and Safety” to create awareness among students about fire prevention and rescue measures. The chief resource persons of the event were the Fire Safety Demonstration and Fire Rescue Services, Tiruchendur. The experts highlighted various fire-fighting techniques and explained the right ways to respond safely during emergency situations. A live demonstration was conducted with the support of a fire engine and professional fire safety equipment, which gave both staff and students valuable insights into life-saving and rescue operations. The most engaging part of the programme was the hands-on practice session, where students were given an opportunity to operate a fire extinguisher under expert guidance. This practical experience made the session highly informative and impactful.
