LIBRARY LIT FEST CELEBRATION

The Library Lit Fest Celebration was conducted on 24th June 2025 in a grand and meaningful manner. The festival aimed at encouraging students and teachers to develop a love for books and to understand the importance of the library in academic and personal growth.

As part of the celebration, all the newly arrived books were beautifully displayed for the exposure of students and staff members. The librarian gave a detailed explanation about the library facilities, DELNET services, and the Press Reader, which created awareness about the rich resources available. This helped everyone understand how to make the best use of the library for research, learning, and general knowledge.

I had the honour of delivering the Welcome Address, which was a proud and memorable moment for me. My friend Benisha delivered the Vote of Thanks with great confidence, adding charm to the event. The Library In-charge Souruba Kumari Mam ,shared valuable insights on the effective usage of library resources, and our Principal Madam gave the Presidential Address, inspiring us to read more and to treat the library as a treasure house of knowledge.

The celebration was a joyful and enriching experience for me, and I felt extremely happy to be part of such a meaningful programme. It was not just an event, but a reminder that books are the best companions in the journey of learning.

Deepavali Celebration 🪔✨ Date: 29.10.2024 Chief Guest : Dr. C.Srimathy M.A., M.Phil., Ph.D., D.D.M.O., NET., Assistant Professor in Tamil, Govindammal Aditanar College for Women, Tiruchendur. The Deepavali celebration was joyfully conducted on the 29th of October.
