Educational Development Da y Date: 15.07.2025 Educational Development Day is observed every year in remembrance of the former Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu, Perunthalaivar K. Kamarajar, who is fondly remembered as the Kalvi Thanthai (Father of Education) . The day highlights his great contribution towards spreading education among the poor and the needy. As part of the celebration, an elocution competition was conducted and prizes were distributed to the winners. A group of student teachers presented a melodious song praising the vision of Kamarajar, while one of the student teachers performed a graceful classical dance. In addition, two students presented beautiful verse writings dedicated to the leader. On this day, I too had a memorable experience. Along with my friends , I performed a group song about Kamarajar. BANKING AWARENESS MEETING Date : 09.07.2025 A Banking Awareness Meeting was organized in the college on 9th July 2025 to create awareness among student teachers about the importance of banking in daily life. Banking plays a vital role in personal finance as well as in business, making it essential for every individual to have a clear understanding of its functions and benefits. The Chief Guest, a respected Bank Manager, addressed the gathering and highlighted the significance of banking in society. He shared valuable insights on savings, investments, loans, and modern banking practices, thereby enhancing the knowledge of the students. The session proved to be informative and beneficial, helping student teachers realize the necessi ty of being financially literate in the present world.

MENTOR–MENTEE INAUGURATION Date : 02.07.2025 The Mentor–Mentee Inauguration was held in the college on 2nd July 2025 with the objective of establishing a supportive system for the overall development of students. The programme aimed at strengthening the bond between faculty members and students, ensuring both academic and personal guidance. As part of this initiative, each faculty member was assigned a group of students to mentor, guide, and monitor their progress throughout the academic year. The inauguration highlighted the importance of mentorship in shaping students’ career goals, addressing their challenges, and motivating them to reach their full potential. The event marked the beginning of a structured mentor–mentee relationship that will serve as a platform for effective communication, guidance, and holistic development of the student teachers.
