National Education Day is celebrated to honour the birth anniversary of Maulana Abul Kalam Azad, India’s first Education Minister, whose vision and reforms shaped the foundation of modern Indian education. At Dr. Sivanthi Aditanar College of Education, this day is observed every year to inspire student teachers and remind them of the transformative power of education.

On 11 November 2024, the college hosted a special programme to mark the occasion. The chief guest, Dr. S. Karpagavalli, delivered an inspiring talk about the life and contributions of Maulana Abul Kalam Azad. She highlighted his efforts in promoting literacy, expanding access to education, and introducing reforms that continue to influence the system today.

A well-prepared PowerPoint presentation accompanied her speech, making the session more engaging and visually appealing. One of the student teachers presented the slides, giving the audience a clearer understanding of Azad’s remarkable journey and enduring legacy.

The event served as a reminder that education is not just about acquiring knowledge, but also about shaping society and empowering individuals to bring positive change.

The campaign period helped us develop confidence, leadership qualities, and effective communication skills. At the end of the election, I was selected as the Chairman, which was a proud and memorable moment for me.”

Bless Meet Celebration Date : 23.06.2025 Bidding farewell to the seniors was one of the most heartwarming occasions of the academic year. The event was filled with joy, laughter, and beautiful memories. Various entertaining and enthusiastic games were conducted, and the seniors shared their best moments of college life. All the staff members blessed the outgoing students through their inspiring speeches, creating a touching atmosphere. As a proud Class B Representative, along with the Class A Representative, I had the privilege of organizing the entire program with the support of my friends. It was a truly amazing experience to plan and execute this memorable event. I also had the honor of delivering the Welcome Address, which was well appreciated.
