Educational Development Da y Date: 15.07.2025 Educational Development Day is observed every year in remembrance of the former Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu, Perunthalaivar K. Kamarajar, who is fondly remembered as the Kalvi Thanthai (Father of Education) . The day highlights his great contribution towards spreading education among the poor and the needy. As part of the celebration, an elocution competition was conducted and prizes were distributed to the winners. A group of student teachers presented a melodious song praising the vision of Kamarajar, while one of the student teachers performed a graceful classical dance. In addition, two students presented beautiful verse writings dedicated to the leader. On this day, I too had a memorable experience. Along with my friends , I performed a group song about Kamarajar.
